Valences.....or not?

Guess I'm not much of a designer, but I took off all my valences in preparation for new upholstery material and I'm thinking about just leaving them off..........

The blind mounts look fine without the valences, actually a cleaner look to me.

I've never been of fan of RV valences.......what are they for anyways........covering up blind / curtain mechanisms?

In my 2013 they hold up my light blocking drop down curtain’s. They have Velcro secured in them. I simply roll my curtains up and tuck in valance.

But if you like them without go for it.

I would keep them incase of resale.

We also reupholstered our dinette cushions and decided the valences needed to go. In our 2014 E19 we prefer the cleaner look without them.
