Vinyl wrap refrigerator
has anyone applied vinyl wrap to the front of your refrigerator? I really don't like the fake wood and think a vinyl wrap would be a good alternative. I'm on the waiting list for 2021 production and plan on asking about having the refrigerator without the fake wood if that's possible, (I assume it's just a sticker) and applying a solid color vinyl wrap.

The facings on the refrigerator are 1/8" slots for what ever you wish to slide into them.
Get one or two of your favorite photos enlarged to the size of the panels. I prefer adding a matte laminate, but was not able to find a supplier when I did these, so went with gloss.
You can either have them dry mounted to 1/8" board and replace the panels, or carefully slip them in in front of the existing panels. I've also seen a couple of trailers with white boards for posting notes as replacements. Stainless steel panels are available for many $...

Not a bad notion, but given the detail of those fake wood inserts as explained by Jon, you'll probably want your trailer delivered with 'em as standard - those are what you'll slip out and 'wrap' ex-situ, then reinsert to most easily alter the fridge appearance. The simple instructions for easy R&R of those panels is in the fridge Owner's Manual IIRC.
(it'll be much more difficult to apply the wrap directly to the slightly imperfect bare metal face of the doors in-situ, and that'd leave the 1/8" panel-slot exposed around the door perimeter)

Hi: Raider47... At home I always wanted to take a pic of the fridge contents and enlarge it to life size to cover the whole door. I thought that might stop the kids from standing with the door open staring in!!! Alf

Raider47,
I did a vinyl wrap on the refrigerator in my Casita (they had some leftover vinyl after adding a stripe around the belly, so I had them wrap the refrigerator). I did it in a pale green. The price was just rolled into the total job so I have no idea of what that portion cost, but it was a nice look! I haven't decided what, if anything, I may do with our new Escape 19 refrigerator. I agree, there's a lot of wood...

Once you've realized that they are replaceable panels, there are a lot of options. In additional to whatever pattern of vinyl film, photographs, and glossy white surface as a whiteboard, you can also make it a blackboard (with special paint) as we did in a trailer. Plastic laminate might be usable directly, or a thin enough laminate applied to hardboard, although patterned vinyl film on hardboard is thinner and durable enough.
I wouldn't wrap the stock panels, preferring instead to make new panels from readily available hardboard in case I change my mind or someone else (next owner?) wants the original woodgrain sheet.
