He is making me a wine glass holder next for wine glass storage and a little wine glass holder for drinking a glass in bed while watching tv. He just sold his 40 ft sail boat and he misses working on it. Also he needs to install my knife rack!

Ooo, nice!!
My Bota Box wines fit perfectly in the cubby beneath our oven. (One of the reasons I have become a Bota fan!)
Your solution is way more elegant.

There's open space behind the face framing above the lower doors of the 21 and 5 areas that let regular wine bottles store upright with some removable dividers. Still leaves room for smaller stuff (dish soap, etc) next to each bottles:

Looks good, Kate. Any room for a bottle of whiskey too?

Love these storage ideas--I definitely need a way to travel with wine bottles. I'm a (mead) brewer and have been wondering whether I can keep making honey wine once I start full-timing. I don't think my 5 gallon carboys will be very practical in my 17B! Has anyone seen a homebrewing setup in a trailer?
Home-bottled wine is less stable than commercial, so I would be careful about storing completed bottles, just in case the shaking from travel caused unscheduled cork-popping.

Where? Suppose we could re purpose one or two slots in the pocket shoe holder mounted on the side of the closet next to the entry door.

In my 17 we put the wine holder in the bottom of the closet because it was deep enough. Didn't take up much room but it all depends on priorities wine is high for me. Also used the bottom of the wardrobe in the 5.0 because it is deep and easy to get to. i can still place soft items on top of the wine!
