Wireless LED dimmer ?

I have a strip of LED lights I’d like to mount below the awning. My plan would be to power them through a remote controlled wireless dimmer. I’ve looked at some on Amazon but the reviews are very mixed. Anyone with personal experience with a particular dimmer they would recommend ?

I (and others) have used this remote on the Hengs ceiling vent led light kits.

I used one very similar, purchased on Amazon. My suggestion is to purchase 2 with the expectation that one will work correctly.

You could ask Escape - PartsandService@escapetrailer.com, what strip/dimmer they use. We chose that option when we bought the trailer 7 years ago, and ours has been working flawlessly since. I'd tell you what it is, but the fob has no manufacturer/part numbers on it....sorry.

Thanks, good tip, I’ll ask them. In the mean time I ordered two of the ones above from Amazon.

I’m looking for the barrel connectors to plug into the dimmer module, it’s coming from China so won’t actually see it for a few weeks 😟.

I bought several of these when I lost my remote on my 2016 Escape 19. Identical to the original light strip dimmer.

just curious about that, as I have a pet peeve about light dimmers. far too many of them, the steps at the dim end are huge, while the steps at the bright end are barely noticeable. This is because they use linear steps in current, like 0, 0.1, 0.2, 0.3, 0.4, .... 0.8, 0.9, 1.0 ... light dimmers should be logarithmic with small steps at the dim end and big steps at the bright end. A log scale might be 0, 0.05, 0.1, 0.15, 0.22, 0.3, 0.4, 0.55, 0.7, 1.0

All I know is that it looks and works exactly like my original. When I bought mine off Ebay they were only about $3.50 and free shipping. Cheaper than buying a new remote. I did have to get in my overhead rear cabinet to change it though.
