5.0 rear window fog

I think I’m going to tackle the fixed rear window fogging in my 5.0. Does anyone know offhand how thick the spacer between the panes is? I’ll get some Edgetech superspacer with the desiccant added and reseal it, but wanted to know if the spacer is 1/4” or whatever...off to Hehr or ETI if the answer ain’t here!

If you open your window and measure the overall thickness and deduct the 1/4” for two 3mil pieces of glass you will have the superspacer thickness. Remember to leave a minimum of 1/8” to back the superspacer with insulating glass silicone, hot melt butyl or polysulfide.

Cheers

I was all set to hear how I could fix my fogged window. Any details available?

No, it’s not fixed yet, it was suggested I open the window and measure the thickness, but the window itself doesn’t open. So it’s a fixed window that still needs to be fixed! Or the window doesn’t open and needs repairing, but not because it doesn’t open..

Here’s the procedure, looked a lot of videos and tips and this feller seemed to be the best..
