Question 5.0TA lights switching question

I failed to check this in detail during my recent tour of a 5.0, looking for a bit of clarification ....

1. Each of the many 'dome', undercabinet, and reading light fixtures has it's own independent on/off switch on the fixture, correct?

2. The single 'master interior lighting switch' on the left as you enter the door acts on all of the interior lights, or are the standard / optional 'reading lights' not on that switch? (yes, I realize that 'master' switch only turns 'on' lights that are 'on' at the fixture).

3. The exterior light switch to the left as you enter the door only acts on the exterior light at the door, is that correct? (IOW is not a 'master switch' for all exterior lights, standard or optional, similar to the way the interior lights 'master switch works)

Thanks In Advance for clarification

All goes to build-sheet and 'customization' details that I'll pursue with ETI. IMO there'd be some convenience in having a couple of additional 'master switches', particularly 'dual controls' located both near the door and near the head of the bed in the 'loft'.

I know how to do that simply with On-On / SPDT switches ... we'll see how much of that ETI will accommodate, or at least 'pre-wire' for me to accommodate with minimal hassle (no additional wire-runs I'd have to make, just minor work adding/connecting switches at the pre-wired terminations).

Yep, honing-in on the little details now ....

1. Yes
2. On my 2014 only the center ceiling light is on the switch
3. Correct. Although if you are buying used it may differ. ETI used to do custom changes to that switch. I have a 3rd switch at the door, the 3rd turns on the outside light at the dump valves.

My 2015 configuration is the same as Bob’s. Two switches, one control the outside porch light, the other only the central dome light (closest to the door). Both fixtures also have switches so if the wall switches don’t work check to make sure the fixtures were not inadvertently turned to the off position.

Yes, each switch has an independent ON/OFF switch. For those lights controlled by the master switch they must be set to ON to function with the master switch

The master switch by the door only operates the center lights, not any off the under cupboard lights.

It only operates the exterior light on the passenger side, all exterior lights including the passenger light also have independent switches.

In my Sprinter van I used a double throw switch to wire the lights for a 3 way operation. There is a switch by the side door and a second switch by the rear door. Switching either of those changes the current state of the lights. If the lights are OFF and you switch the switch by either door it will turn the lights ON. If the lights are ON and you switch the switch by either door it will turn the lights OFF.

I thought about asking ETI to run wires to the bed area from the door so I could do this with the trailer. I decided since each of the lights had independent switches, and at least on the Escape 19 the ones under the cabinets on either end of the bed weren't on the master switch is wasn't worth it. That I would just use the individual switches while retiring for the night and waking in the morning, and the master switch while entering and leaving the trailer.
