EZ Connector
I think that when my 7 pin connector becomes loose, I will replace it with an EZ Connector. But that probably isn't for a few years.

I bought a batch of 10" bungee cords from Harbor Freight that I've found handy. When the cover snapped on my 7 pin plug I used one to hold the plug in the connector until I could replace it.
