AC questions
Yep, its noisy. Running fine and cooling though, on 20 amps. But when I turned it off by turning the thermostat off something is still buzzing away. OK, that’s the fridge but it hasn’t done it before. It is running on AC. Is the buzzing due to running hard in the same heat that has me turn the AC on?
Second- it is noisy and gets plenty cool fast, where I am sitting in the breeze. Is there an efficient way to set/run it so it only cycles on as needed? Should anything be open for venting? (I’m assuming not but this seems like a small space with no venting.
It also cycled off and then right back on- is that normal?
It wil be cold at night so we won’t sleep with it on, and I’m guessing tomorrow, when I haven’t towed in 100 degree heat, it won’t start so hot and will not run as much.

I am no ac expert at all, but when ours cycled on and off quickly the compressor did not cycle on and off but just the fan. I lowered the temp setting and the problem went away.

So I decided to read the manual. Um... I don’t have a manual for the AC. I have one for everything else. Is there one? I looked online but what I find doesn’t match up with this AC.
What I want to know- I know if the fan is not on auto it comes on when I’m heating. No thanks. But if it is on auto can I switch it to low when running the AC? What are the flaps on the ends of the unit for? Can I open them and close off the downward flow of air? Is there a quietest way to do it?
Is there a manual? (I also can’t find a video.)

Might be helpful to let folks know what AC you have / what "doesn't match up" with what you are finding (on the mfr's website?).

It might be helpful if I knew the model. It’s the stock one for a 2020 17b. That’s all I know. The only controls appear to be for air flow on the inside face of the unit and the Dometic digital thermostat.

Wouldn't that information be on the sheet inside a closet or cupboard?

If it is I have yet to find it. I had such a sheet in the microwave cabinet in the 15 but the microwave is in the 17.

Thanks, that was it, but the model in the online 6403 manual does not look like this model. There are no controls other than the thermostat. I guess I'll just play around and see what I can do. Closing some vents and opening others helps.

And turning the fan to low doesn't affect the fan during AC running.

Mine is also in the wardrobe in my 2017 21C, however some parts are unreadable - I tried to find the model # for my AC:

Take a photo & save the file. Easier to look at than sticking your head in the wardrobe...

It seems like it is cycling too fast. (Unlikely the furnace which cycles too slowly). But the hot air stays pretty well in the bed/dinette area whereas the cold air can't be directed this way. So I'm wondering if I turn the Maxxfan on with it closed if that might help even it out? Would that be still running DC from the battery without overloading the AC circuit? (I'm on a 20 amp breaker.)
