Adapting ETI 30A E-Z lock power cord to couple to camco 90 degree locking adapter

Greetings all,

I've been looking for a part that I thought would have been a common part ... Not so however so hopefully someone out in escape forum land might be able to help

Our trailer has the quick disconnect (Marinco Eazy Lock Ring) power cable. The camco 90 degree adapter uses the standard threaded lock sealing ring

Leaving me with 2 options:

1. Find a Eazy Lock to Threaded sealing collar, similar to 30A 125V Sealing Collar with Threaded Ring | Marinco. Thus far my simple solution does not seem to be available

Or

2. replace the Easy Lock Ring on the ETI power cord with a standard threaded ring.

Thoughts?

I made my own threaded ez lock by grinding in a matching groove.

Hi look on my website for the Detachable Power Cord 30 amp. It is just like the factory option. I have installed 3 in trailers I have owned.

Thanks Jim,

Sometimes I need someone to point out the obvious solution ... It took 5 min for me to mod the existing part vs. the several hours I waisted looking online.

What is that saying, "When you are up to your neck with alligators, you remember your initial task was to drain the swamp"……….
I remember now calling Marinco and the person making that suggestion.

Or just swap the quick lock ring on the ETI supplied cord with the screw ring on the camco adapter.

I had thought of that as I had an extra ring but it seem to be that easy to remove, plus any excuse to use a power tool is always the preferred choice
