Aluminum Wheel Dust Cap

Hello, on our latest trip we lost the dust cap from one of our aluminum wheels. I am trying to find a replacement dust cap and for the life of me cannot find the exact match. Does someone know where I can find and order a replacement? Seems like it should be pretty simple! (pictures attached for reference)

Yep, exact match seems elusive (you've probably seen eTrailer has one of proper size, but not exact style match).

Methinks a call to ETI might be in order, asking for a replacement or the OE manufacturer ID / contact info.

Good Luck.

Here's another wheel cap plug from etrailer that might work for you?

If it's not the exact style match, you could get 2 and exchange them both on that one side for a nice even look. Just a thought. Good luck! -Bea

Back in the day on the open wheel race cars that plied the dirt tracks of the upper Midwest, all of the Chrome was in the crowd side. Exhaust, steering gear, weight rack etc. the other side was steel and beat up at that. Of course one of my favorite cars had the number B4U. Who remembers the great USAC driver from Wisconsin “Dick Trickle? Also Gus Schrader from Iowa and The Minnesota Golden Gopher Jerry Richert? And my all time favorite driver Mr. Jerry Blundy, Galesburg Illinois? Those guys made todays NASCAR racing look like a baby buggy race.

IF you can't find an exact replacement, just buy two and put them on the same side. Then you'll have a spare for the other side. Who'd ever notice the dust caps are different... side-to-side.
And if you think I'm kidding... I'm not...

Take care to verify your dust-cap hole diameter; at 1-13/16" ^that one^ is a tad too small for my 5.0 with 2" holes. YMMV.

That kind of stuff works. A friend wanted ME to paint her son's dirty walls. Had 4 3/4 cans different paints, but all shades of off whites. Wondered if I could use them. So I painted each wall with one can. Eye won't see because of the corner shallow, & play of light. She was thrilled not to have to buy more cans of off white, & to get rid of the 4 cans!
