Door window film

I read through this thread a couple of times and didn't see any resolution on the door window film bubbling. We have had our trailer about 1 1/2 years and we just noticed some bunching up of the door window film at the bottom of the window. We are thinking of replacing the film. Maybe with a purple pattern or picture that matches our trailer graphics.

Has anyone replaced the door window film? Is it easy to remove the old film and clean the window? Any suggestions on where to purchase window film with a pattern or picture?

most auto window tinters can get stuff custom printed with any design you want. they have stuff now that is transparent from inside, but opaque from outside.

tons of online businesses do these, too.

Escape sent us a pre-cut replacement for the door window, but as you can see I've not put it on yet. Reason being the screen door is yet to be fixed and I don't want to alter anything till that is completed. Trailer goes in next week to hopefully fix the warped screen door.

I see the removal of the film as being easy. Replacing it should be easy also. Instructions say to apply it from center to edges. I do like John in Santa Cruz's suggestion of getting something you can see out of from the inside and can't see inside from the outside. I don't like that I can't see out the door window.

What would that be, other than a reflective tint film (which is reflective, not opaque)? That only really works when it is brighter outside than inside.

one form of it is a film you put on the outside of the glass that has a halftone pattern of white dots over a medium-dark film.

That's like the advertising wraps that go over windows: it seems relatively opaque from the outside and you can see through from the inside, but the difference is only because it is darker inside than outside (the tint effect), and you look out from close to the film but in from far away. If someone sticks their face up to the window, they can still see in. It would help for privacy, but it's not opaque... for either direction.
