Hi: LeonW... We are still perservering with the origional RML855X that ETI used in 2014. Luckily it came with wire shelves. I have done several mods to make it cool better and had a fix done to the ignighter when it eventually wouldn't light the gas. Ordered a new door closer hook from Sweden at their inflated $$$'s only to find I could have fix'd it for 2 bucks myself.
Mod shown is re: location of thermistor. Alf

First, I approve of your choice of beers. I have the RMD8555, and moved the thermistor all the way over to a wall where it is secured with a bit of duct tape. Also, I got a replacement latch (the grey plastic piece) from someone with a 3d printer. I think it was $5.00. but I can't find where I got :-(

Well, ultimately there is always black electrical tape...works on those annoying smoke detector lights that keep me awake in hotels...

If it's the exterior lights on the fridge that keep you awake at night (my wife complained about them) I did a high tech solution of taking a thin piece of cardboard, bent it in 2 places so the top bend goes between the microwave and fridge and the bottom bend into the gap above the door. Works great and easy to find replacement parts...

Great idea for those times I have guests also bothered by the lights, something I won't necessarily know in advance. Love those easy-to-find replacement parts!

Just buy a packet of those felt tabs that are usually stuck to bottom of items to prevent them from scratching surfaces. They are cheap, self adhesive and come in various colours and sizes. Stick over the offending light.

🤔 maybe read the label....

Hah! I'd have never thought of this idea! Better yet, I just ran across some felt tabs that will actually blend into my décor.

If the goal is to reduce the amount of light from an LED, then try Light Dims (https://www.amazon.com/LightDims-Ori.../dp/B009WSJNCW).

FYI, I just saw this discussion, and haven't read all the posts.

Perhaps if you contact Sierra Nevada and ask them to use monochromatic labels, that may help solve your conundrum.....

Or just bring one flavor when you go.
I’d like both of these(good beers), so I don’t know I’d care which one I grabbed.

Hi: Greg A... Isn't one of them a lot paler than the other? On second thought it really is one "Ale" of a problem!!! Alf

well, the summerfest is optimal icy cold on a hot day, while the pale ale is better as an evening beer.

I *still* haven't figured out how to get the clear plastic cover off so I can closer inspect the LEDs.

I used the flat side of a kitchen knife and slide it under the cover, working all the way around.
