Awning maintenance
I've got mildew on my awning. That's what you get for putting it away wet or not opening it from time to time. I've tried 30 Seconds and I've tried TSP and only gotten mediocre results. Anybody have the magic formula for easy cleaning?

I struggled with that, and concluded, after much thought, that the best and most environmentally sound, sustainable method of mildew control is to use the trailer so much that mildew doesn't stand a chance.
Does that help?
(apparently good grammar is inversely proportional with time spent in the trailer)

Glenn this worked good for me on an older unit I had, its called "Best Awning Cleaner"
That nasty stuff! Makes you want to spit!!!!!
But after it's off, I like Dirk's solution. Makes perfect sense!

We used "Simple Green" straight on ours as it came with some mildew spots from the first owners. Got most of it off pretty good..
I use that to clean anything in the trailer-nice smell too...
