Check all the outside hatches. I have a 5.0TA and mine was in the hatch by the door. The tool is really only a long rod with a hook on one end and a hand loop on the other. Nothing fancy and nothing really necessary. IF you can't find it, you don't really need it if you can reach the release on the end of the awning and also reach the pull strap.
