Back Up/Rear View Wireless Camera Reliability

Does anyone have any comparisons of Tadi Bros. vs. Voyager wireless cameras as to their ability to not have drop outs. I am wondering if the higher price of the Voyager is worth it in terms of reliable performance.

I haven't had any dropout issues with my Tadi setup at the rear end of my 21; most of these wireless cameras use the same chipsets in the transmitters/receivers, so the mounting (and distance) affects the transmission more than the brand. I had ETI install my Tadi setup and mount the transmitter as far forward in the shell as possible (where I could easily get to it for replacement if needed) and have the receiver mounted with VHB tape to the rear glass inside my Tacoma. Distance between the units is maybe 12 feet while the range spec is 50ish. Works perfect.

Question Jim for someone else . If you have the voyager wireless is the voyager cord the transmitter or is there something else besides the cord . I do have the voyager I bought from my brother brand new for 350 . I had Escape install so I have no Idea what is there but found I need my battery cut off switch on for it to work to transmit . Now I think Escape will only install theirs . You cannot have them install yours any longer . Really info about transmitter . Thanks .Pat
