BAL 23222 Leveling Jack

These have been out of stock everywhere I have tried in Canada for 6 months.

Anyone have any alternatives? Escape 19

Thanks in advance

You could use one of the longer (more extension) models, if they're available. The last two digits of the BAL part number indicate the leg length, and the next one up is the 23225.

Don’t have my Escape yet, but this got me thinking. I there room for the longer jack? If so, would this be a good option for the high lift trailers? Some have reported needing blocks under the jacks with a lift.

The BAL product sheet shows the length of the unit; it's easy to compare that with the frame rail spacing... once you have your trailer, or if you have access to someone else's of the same model.

Yes, some owners have made the change for this reason.

I would say that it is a good option if there is room for it, in my lifted 19 the standard jacks are often not long enough.

i carry around a bunch of Tri-Lynx plastic 'lego' blocks, and if one or more of my corner jacks doesn't reach the ground, I put enough blocks under it so it does. I also tend to use them under the nose jack so I don't have to crank it down so far. i have sufficient of the 'cap' blocks for the TriLynx so the levelers and/or nose jack are on a flat surface and not resting directly on the legos and mangling them. obviously you could use wood blocks for this too, but they are heavy
