Bike Rack and Backup Camera

I have an escape 21 being built as I write this. I was looking at rear bike racks, trying to decide which one when a new issue occurred to me. I am getting the backup camera also. It seems very possible that the lens for the backup camera is mounted low in the rear center, exactly where the vertical post for the bike rack will be. This would be awful. Has anyone come upon this issue? Where is the 'eye' for the backup camera located?

The camera is mounted up high, by the lights at the top.

Ahh, the camera lens is up high, that's good news! Thanks CP. I guess with the camera I can see if the bicycle falls of when I'm driving ;-)

Bikes

You only get one bounce if it falls off. That's what I used to tell the Scouts when we hauled bikes on a deck mounted over our utility trailer. Only ever had one come loose and it did not come off ( all the way).

Reminds me of taking the boys up the Cuesta Grade on Hwy 101 to mountain bike when the last bike fell off. Luckily it was early Sunday morning and it landed next to the guardrail. I pulled over and ran across three lanes to retrieved it(right?!). Only damage was a small part on the derailer and K-Man in Atascadero was open for a $25 fix. They mounted it but was my responsibility- cheap lesson learned.
