Brake lights/running lights on all the time and draining battery

Hello All

I have a 2018 19 foot that I’m having some electrical issues with namely battery drain.
First I replaced battery and then it was still draining my new battery. Second I put in a master disconnect switch which helps but it was a pain to turn off when I needed to quickly grab something from inside.
Third I put in a second 12 volt battery thinking that I just use to much juice therefore was needed.
And then....the other night I was outside in the dark and noticed the rear brake/taillights were on. Voila therein lies the battery drain.

My question is A) how do I fix this and
B) what other items are on and draining my battery as well.

Is this common?

Cheers

The first place I would look is the 7 pin junction box mounted on the frame near the tongue of the trailer. A short between the tail light wiring and the 12v hot coming from the trailer would do it. A wet (shorted) 7 pin connector would do it as well.

Take a look at the pic below.

That large red wire is an always hot wire coming from the battery. The large red wire also feeds the emergency brake system.

The red (yellow on trailer side) and green wires are the turn/stop lights.

The brown wire is the tail/running lights wiring.
