Bug removal

Just back from a trip to Cypress Hills and the front of the truck and trailer were covered with bugs.

Did some research on bug removal and tried 4 different suggestions.

Hands down winner was the simplest of all. Make a thin paste of baking soda and rub it on takes the bugs off and leaves the shine.

This works great! I just tried it after too long using only elbow grease and water. They came right off. Thanks for the suggestion. [emoji4]

And if you use this product on the frontal surfaces of your TV and trailer, all you will need to get the bugs off is a wet rag.
As long as you don’t give the bugs a few months to petrify.

Wow, unfortunately your removing the wax and taking the polish off too. Use a good car soap then wax it, then they’ll come off easier when washing.

I do use baking soda at home especially in cleaning but never to remove bugs. We do have a bug spray in our truck just in case there are few during the trip. This is a life saver hack thanks.

Try used dryer fabric softener sheets and some water. We use those on our Escape 17 and Tacoma. Works good!
