Bug screens Furnace, Fridge, Water Heater

Hi Everyone,

I was wanting to purchase some bug screens that go over the furnace exhaust, water heater the refrigerator vents on my 2020 Escape 5.0 but wanted to check with you all, if anyone can point me to the correct kit (s) so that I do not order the wrong ones on Amazon. Included is a side pic of the escape if this helps determine what is needed…..thanks in advance everyone!

We put this screen over our furnace vent: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1
For the refrigerator vents we used:https://www.amazon.com/Camco-42148-F...00192HPOC&th=1
For the hot water heater we just wired some flat metal screen on the inside of the lid. -Bea

I just put regular window screen behind the doors. Do you think that is too restrictive for ventilation?

I'm not sure but what I can tell you is that in our screened in porch on hot days when there's only a breeze, the air in the porch can be dead so I believe that they definitely restrict air flow; is it too much restriction for your vents; I don't know but to be safe I used screens as shown i the post above; they work really well. I've actually watched those yellow wasps hovering around trying to get into those spaces on my trailer and they do not have any success!

Here's a recent thread discussing the right insect screen to get for your trailer's furnace, refrigerator and hot water heater:
