Command hooks on vinyl & wood
I know I've seen this addressed before, but now we have our 19' and setting it up, so maybe it will sink into my brain.
What is experience of putting Command hooks on vinyl liner and on "wood" paneling?
Has anyone removed later and seen long term results to surfaces?

I'm using Command hooks exclusively. I've had no problem removing and placing them in another location. However, I haven't moved one in a long time, so I can't say what might happen over time. I'm not anticipating a problem.
The MOST important thing you can do is READ and SAVE the instructions. If you follow those, you should not have a problem. If you don't, you will tear the vinyl.
I bought the cheap white plastic versions initially and ended up replacing them all ( except in the bath ) with brushed nickel.

If you search "power lock suction" they have all kinds of things for the bathroom. You can also stick them to the trailer outside to hang towels and things.

Have you had good luck with that towel bar staying attached? We have one just like that and it constantly falls off the bathroom wall. Replacing it with more the the 3M ones

Make sure you use the "power lock" type. They have a lever that sucks them to the wall. We have had them on since September and one trip to Florida and it takes me a second to get them off if I want to move them.
I copied the wrong thing above and cannot change it but those are cool too. This is what we put on the front bath wall.

We have the power locks with the lever, and like most of the reviewers on Amazon, have had zero luck with them staying on. We have one of those Umbras by our door and am considering putting one on the outside of the bathroom wall if I can find enough stud area to drill into.

We have a mirror, towel rack, and tooth brush holder and I have had no problem. I just wet them a little, push hard and flip the lever. Even the mirror stayed on the wall during a 1300 mile trip which I was surprised.

We have used 3M Command hooks and fasteners in our Boler and our motorhome - both of which have woodgrain-printed paneling - with no damage and good holding success.

I think I'm going a little crazy from all the details. But I'm taking notes on this thread because I've been wondering how we'd make the bathroom user friendly.

My recollection is that 3M sells the same Command hooks but for damp conditions, like the shower. Mine are just the usual, and are still stuck where I put them.

Just wondering if anyone has removed a command hook that has bee attached to the paneling for a long time?

OK, OK.
I'll do it tomorrow. I have lots of spare adhesive pads.

This summer we removed a couple of them from our 2008 5.0 after purchasing it from the previous owner. Not sure how long they had been up there (could have been as long as 7 years) but they removed without any damage at all. (They were on the wall outside the fridge and the microwave cupboard)

I haven't noticed any specifically for wet conditions. I would think the regular ones like you used should work just fine, as there is really no way for water to affect them.
Good luck in your Command Hook removal tomorrow. You can always jut buy a bigger one to cover the patch you pull off.

First time I removed one, I didn't read the instructions and I did cause damage. Ended up putting the new one ( brushed nickel ) right back where the white plastic one had been.

I remember Glenn posting about problems and not reading the instructions... pay attention! The one thing I learned from his posts... is MAKE SURE before you put one of those Command hooks up in the first place. Is whatever you're trying to mount, in the position you want it to be permanently? I've learned to really, really think about it....
YMMV

Actually, I've repeated often, when it comes to the Command hooks, "read and save the instructions". You can move them as often as you like as long as you have adhesive pads and follow the instructions.
Holes, on the other hand, are permanent.

Yep, Command now has a line of items made specifically for the bath (or other wet areas). Purchased a couple of the small bins but have to wait for our trailer to see if they work or not ... ;-)
