Let's err on the side of me having an engineering degree and understanding volts, amperes, ohms and all that stuff, and the danger of live male prong hanging out there.

I just do not know the correct nomenclature for the plugs and receptacles and where to buy them.

Hope that clarifies it.
Yes, it does clarify it. You just want to use the NEMA TT-30R receptacle to power things besides the trailer. That was not at all clear to me from your previous posts. Perhaps I'm just slow.[emoji23]

We don't know what you are plugging into your trailer cord, but the potential risk is that if you are plugging the trailer cord into a 30A receptacle, you may need a 15A or 20A breaker beyond the trailer cord to protect your circuit and electric devices if they are not rated for 30A.

Going the other way, plugging a 30A cord into a 15A receptacle is not a problem, but limits the available power.

You have more company ; I have been a licensed electrician since 1973 and I don’t have the slightest idea what the OP is talking about or what he is trying to accomplish.

I don't understand the reluctance to provide information about the purpose, to people who are trying to help.
