custom fabric

How much fabric is needed for a one way design. ET said 11.2 meters ( 12 yards )
448" by 56" would give me 112"x 56 "for each cushions. I am a quilter and sewer and this does not seem right. I have read that they have often given yards of fabric back to the customer. At $47.00 a meter I do not ant extra. When I talk to someone at ET they just say that is what the seamstress wants.
Also when is the fabric needed at ET, on the day I sign off the build sheet or 6 weeks before completion date? thank you

Just our experience, but we e-mailed ETI our pattern code number, and they told us how many yards they would need of that pattern (we were able to get by with the lesser amount). We didn't send our fabric until they e-mailed us to tell us they were ready for it. Hope that helps. Dale
