not sure what to do about this caulk problem (see pics)....remove it or let it be. no leaks that we are aware of. in some spots the caulk is sticky, other spots it is dry....hope that doesn't indicate a water issue.
Hi...katinfoco... Nothing to be concerned about IMHO. Our door window has a bit of sag from the heat and the back window has some crusting against the glass. Been like that for a while and no leaks either. Alf

yes, it is not caulk but butyl tape that is used in windows installation to seal. It gets brown and causes those stains. A plastic knife will easily remove the excess, heat and general use causes it to ooze out until it settles.
