Different sink for 21 bath?
Haven't turned up anything by searching, so - wifey is curious if there is anything out there to replace the 21 bath sink with something that isn't plastic. Thinking I may have to improvise something ......

When I first looked at my 21 bath sink I wondered if Charlie made the sink for Escape since it looks like a custom molded sink.

Charlie, I've looked and looked. Wanted a stainless sink in the bath, and maybe change out the Oxygenics shower head and white shower hose with a stainless one as well. I pretty much concluded that if we wanted a stainless sink in the bath that would fit without major modifications, we would have to fabricate one. So, the white plastic is fine for now.

The link I posted is a stainless sink that will fit the space between the door and the corner. The width of the mounting flanges is 2 1/2 inches less than the available space. It is an undermount design, so I'm thinking a Corian countertop for it that extends far enough toward the rear to mount the faucets, which would make the forward projection around the center of the bath window. Corian is actually a thermoformable plastic (most don't know that.)
ETI installed a glassed in mounting board for their sink on the outside wall that would support the long side. I'm going to order one and see how this progresses.
I have no idea how the drain will work out, tho .........

Yes, I've seen that oblong sink. Provided you can fabricate a countertop and attach it along the bathroom midband, it should work, but that's what I meant by "major modifications". I was just looking at the time for something that was a more direct swap out.

Well, a sheet of Corian 1/4 inch thick that's big enough is $40. Worth an experiment since I have the thermal bending equipment.

Hi: tractors1... How about an antique brass spittoon for the sink? Alf

Alf, I tried metals (brass, copper) as they would be easy to form in the odd shape of the stock ETI sink. Wifey wants stainless steel - not easy to hammer around a form.
