DIY tire levelers

Getting our 5.0 on May 11!
Thinking about making some homemade tire levelers out of some animal stall mat. The material is 3/4" thick and comes in 4'x6' mat and is very durable.
Wondering if anyone had the length of the both tires from end to end. If I had this I could cut some lengths of mat to fit under the tires. Looked on the Escape spec sheet and could not find it.
Thanks

Call it an even 4ft at the ground and you'll have a couple of inches+ excess at each end.

Thanks Centex!
The mats are $40 dollars so cheap enough to try this experiment. If this doesn't work I can use the pieces in the truck or elsewhere.

I know 'em well (former horse owner), hadn't considered 'em for this application; it's an interesting idea, let us know how that works out.

They're a bear to cut, gonna use a skilsaw to rip the strips?

You probably know the stuff is surprisingly heavy and awkward to grip. FYI bolts/ washers/ nuts can be used to attach webbing 'handles' to make that easier.

Congrats on your new 5.0, Have Fun!

I carry two 2x6 cut to length with bevel on one end. Never needed more than two.
