We're about to pick up our 21 at the end of the month.
We're trying to pick a television to take up with us and have read the threads on it. But as we look at the pictures it seems like the television will be in the way when it is installed, either blocking cabinets or sticking out into the room.
Does the television get in the way? Is it better to get a smaller one to avoid this?

I reinforced the wall above the nightstand and mounted the 22 inch TV there; needed access to the right side to load a disk, so it's not against the outside wall but doesn't stick out much as I got a pivot mount to pull it out far enough. Doesn't swivel 180 degrees to view from the rear, but we don't need it to - there are mounts that will allow that, though.
I would just keep the TV stowed until you want to watch it, and just put it up then. There are lots of mounts that easily come off their base to facilitate this.

We mounted the 22" on a Costco mount to the wall corner near the bath door. It swings out to be seen from the dinette, around and tilts to be seen from the bed and then for travel we cushion it with a small blanket and bungee it to the bath wall. No more removing it while traveling.
