dometic 11k btu question, please help

so, I have been getting to know my Dometic 11k btu AC a little better lately (most likely because of a relay failure that I have new relays ordered for). IN the meantime I have been looking around and removed the inside shroud and cleaned it and the air filter that I didnt know was there!
So this leads me to my main concern - What I think is a relay/control box that is not only obstructing the return airflow but is free to bounce all over the place because it is not solidly attached to anything other than lots of wires. I cannot imagine that this is correct, and not sure of how it actually mounts and where.
Doe anyone have knowledge about this issue?

A screw loose?

There is a hole in the cross brace in your photos that may have once held the box in place. Ever find a loose screw in or around the shroud? Is there a matching hole in the relay box?
Zip ties with adhesive double sided tape could be a Macgyver patch job to hold things in place.

Good thoughts, but there is no corresponding hole in the box that I can see anywhere. This box is apparently for the digital controller from what I have been reading. not sure if it should be mounted vertically somehow to that strap or horizontally paralell with the ceiling.

Good luck

My rig is away in storage so I can't inspect and advise. Hopefully, others can.

Thanks, I conceded to the mcgyver route with zip ties and double stick. Still hate the idea that the enormous box restricts return air but at least this thing will not bounce into the coils next to it and cause serious damage.
