Dometic furnace troubles

Our 2017 19’ escape has had intermittent furnace troubles related to the sail switch. The switch is supposed to sense low battery voltage by measuring fan speed but seems to flutter and shut down the furnace on our unit occasionally. I recently installed an Atwood 36680 sail switch, which fits perfectly and works better. The sail is a different shape and seems to have a slightly weaker spring. Escape has a good YouTube video of how to replace the switch.
