Dometic refrigerator issue while running on propane.
I had been traveling with the fridge on propane and while setting up at a campsite (boondocking), I noticed the fault light on the fridge. When I pressed to reset, I could hear the sparking and lighting of the burner. Within a second or so, the flame would extinguish, a spark, followed by flame, and then extinguish. So, I checked the stove, furnace, and water heater and all worked as expected. I knew the active propane tank was near empty so I flipped to the full tank. I still had issues. I removed the tube leading to the fridge burner and blew air and ensure it was clean. I blew air through the burner and ensured it was clean. BTW, all looked fine prior to this effort. At some point everything appeared stable so I had hoped some change I had done possibly fixed the issue. No such luck. Two nights later near midnight, the furnace is running and when it shuts off, I hear the repeated sparking of the igniter. The good thing about this happening at midnight, it's easier to see the flame without taking the side shield off the camper. So, I could see the spark, see the flame, see the flameout, back to a spark, flame, flameout, etc... During this, I lit a burner on the stove and while the stove burner was going, the fridge stayed lit. So, can the tank regulator have issues with the low volume of the fridge only or is there another issue happening? Should I just go ahead and replace the regulator? It works fine with the higher flow of stove, water heater, and furnace. Just a weird issue!
