Dometic Refrigerator Parts

We have a 2014 Escape 15 with a Dometic Refrigerator. The door latch is broken so it will no longer stay shut when we are moving. Dometic gave me a part number (241326701) for a new door latch, but said the part was unavailable through them. They suggested I Google the part number, but all it came up with was a listing on Amazon UK which said the part was unavailable. Any suggestions re where I might find a replacement latch? All that Dometic suggested was to buy a Child Proof latch for the fridge door but that's a bit Mickey Mouse.

I don't know what model Dometic you have. But, I ordered this door latch from Bastens and it works as good as OEM. Look at the model numbers. Is this what you need? https://bastens.com/products/dometic...idge-latch-lef

This might be what you need, but has a ridiculous price. Says it replaces 2413267010

sticker shock

I think at that price I will have to resort to a $10 child safety lock. Thanks.
