Dull finish is a small area

Brand new 5TA small area back roof corner on one side. How to fix. It’s white but dull and rough like oxidized but it’s too early for that at 1 week. Lol

There are always little imperfections in a man made object....I learned to live with them....in the back on the roof...out of sight, out of mind. After six months in the sun it will be safe to polish your new Escape and most dull spots will disappear. Until then it may still be curing.

Sounds like it needs some compound but a call to ETI might be in order.

When the shell comes out of the mold, there are areas that have to be compounded with a rotary buffer. Looks like Escape missed that area.

Just take it back to Escape and they can compound it out in no time.

Yeah, I remember at pickup there was a little delay and they said something to the effect that they had to do some extra polishing.
