You are absolutely correct.

I took the photos 7 years ago and my eyes saw what my brain expected to see. (Same thing happens with my eye-stomach connection. )

Thanks. Their website doesn't provide any hint about the on-off switch function, even for the OWL model, so I guess it will remain a mystery.

True, some circuits are not supplied through the power centre, so they are not disconnected by the storage switch. This usually includes the landing gear or tongue jack (because they save a long wire run by just tapping into the 12V line from the towing connection); this doesn't cause the battery to run down because the jack consumes no power when not in use. A detector (CO or smoke) could be a problem in storage.
