End error

The end is not showing one of the error codes but when the a/c compressor kicks in the screen just flashes three zeros ( could be 8’s) continuously. Ideas?

A/C keep running / cooling ok, or.....?

Any other weirdness?

Power cord plugs too warm? Plug blades look OK?

Try shutting everything down, disconnect, reconnect (and wait for the delay) and see what happens.

Believe you couldn't run your A/C with a Honda 2000/2200 either..........Hmmmmmmmmm.......?

REALLY hot today in Tx - everybody's A/C is running full bore.

I am on shore power, at home, a/c cooling just fine, no other electrical issues, power cords not hot, and it does not show a E-code number. The only issue is that when the compressor kicks in and the amp draw is heavy the screen flashes 0’s (8’s) rapidly across the screen. When amp draw is low, the screen goes back to normal operation and does not show a E-code.

Are you using at least a 10 gauge extension cord ?

Call Progressive...I had to call them last week for an error I was getting on mine, I got right through to a technician and he was extremely helpful...they have great customer service!

Progressive technician was baffled but said his first guess was a bad signal coming from circuit board so I have a circuit board on the way. FYI, their Tec Support is always excellent.

Just curious, as you could not run your a/c (based on previous posts) on a Honda 2000 or a 2200 (both rated 15 amps running) Guess the starting surge was too much.

I have an older Honda 2000 and am hoping I will be able to run the A/C on my future Escape 21NE, though I am leaning toward the 13.5 optional choice.

If not, I have an older Champion 4500/3500 noise maker with a propane conversion that used to run a 15k but unit just fine.

Yes, the startup surge knocked the Honda off almost every time.. the newer a/c units may not have quite as high of a surge.
