The tank monitor in our brand new 19 is haywire. With nothing in the black tank the monitor reads FULL. All of the other readings are ok. We've never had anything in the tank so I doubt the sensors are clogged up. Reace has no idea what could be wrong with it.

If I were you I would wash the tank with water using a water wand through the toilet bowl and then drain the tank out on the ground since the tank is clean it won't matter. Maybe the sensor has production dust on it.
I have filled the tank with ice cubes, buy a bag and pour it through the toilet. Small bag will do. Drive home and empty the tank into a pail. Works for me.
Tough to do the same trick with the gray water tank.

The great solution to diagnose the problem would be if you could get your hands on a plumber's illuminated snake TV camera, and have a good look at the sensor from inside the tank. Know a plumber?

We had issues with our fresh water sensors. It could be the resistor pigtail at the tank, could be a faulty panel, or it could be a shorted / grounded wire between the tank and the panel. KIB enterprises ( www.kibenterprises.com ) has a good troubleshooting guide on line that you might find helpful. We have the KIB K Panel in our trailer. Good luck.
