Flap over frameless window unglued

Before our first camping trip of the year, we noticed that the rubber flap over one of the frameless windows was 80% off and another was going to get there in not too distant future. Seeing that it was going to fall off, I removed and kept it. Now, I need to put it back up. I would highly appreciate any advice on the adhesive and/or other care I need to take to address this issue?

Many thanks!

PS: I thought there was a thread on it earlier this year but have been unable to find it. Hence the new thread.

Since it's rubber I would use a rubber cement contact adhesive. I would clean and scratch up the rubber with sand paper. Clean the camper with alcohol where you are going to re apply it. Then I would use the best painters tape you can buy to mask off all the way around where you will be applying the glue. Then paint the glue onto both surfaces and let them dry tacky to touch, remove the tape except for the top or bottom to use as a line get the rubber on straight. Then starting at one end stick the rubber to the fiberglass. Be careful to get it right the first time because once the two surfaces with glue touch there's no do overs.

Best of luck!

I cleaned the area and use VHS double sided tape. That was a year and a half ago and 15000 miles still on tight.
