My rear divided awning window (not an exit window) failed on one side under warranty. The replacement was done locally after I received the window. Took under an hour and had been originally told it needed to cure for a day but turned out not to be true due to the way the replacement "slides" in.
I may be imagining things, but isn't there a documentation of someone on here who "repaired" a foggy window?
Good luck to you!
