Frameless Thermal Window

Is anyone aware of the procedure for adjusting the frameless thermal windows in 2017 5.0 TA? My kitchen window was working its way loose as I was traveling across the country (on very bumpy roads!) recently. I had to stop and tighten it / close it at regular rest stop intervals.

Our kitchen window works loose too. We loosely wrap the dish drying towel over the knob and it has yet to work loose. The towel is by the sink anyway so there's nothing else to keep track of.

Enjoy,

Perry

I'm taking 2 pool noodles for the dinette seats, plan on cutting off 6x1" slices for the window knobs.

I plan to do this. I have a strip of foam mattress that might be perfect.

AHHhhh, pool noodles. Great idea, manythanks. The kitchen window opening on rough roads was a real pain.

We had three windows come loose repeatedly on our first day's drive, used a sock wrapped around the handle as a temporary fix and when we got home I came up with the U-shaped foam pieces. We decided to just put them on every window for travel, not that hard and no point in waiting for the other ones to work loose also.

I think the foam I used was too thick - 2". After using them a while, I think 1" pieces would work fine, and also could be smaller - all that's really needed is a little tension on the knob to keep it from turning.

I also got the self opening window option, I use an elastic band to keep my one window from unwinding.
