Freezing temps

Appreciate advice on rewinterizing. What would you do? Am near lone pine Cali heading north to ely then jackpot with final destination boise. Dewinterized coming down, now trying to decide if I should rewinterize today. Guess I’m lazy. Temps ely tomorrow 46/12, Sunday in jackpot46/30. Boise is above freezing so could do it upon return.

It depends a bit on whether you have the heated and insulated tanks, but I'd winterize. An overnight low of 30F is unlikely to cause problems, but 12F definitely will.

Yes, 12F is a definite problem. I guess it depends upon how fast you are moving south. You can run the furnace and open cabinets but that will not take care of your dump valves which apparently become a problem to dump. Would have to then be warm enough to dump but that does not mean that they could not have worse problems. I guess if it were us, we would re-winterize.

I had to replace part of the pipe that connects the black tank to the dump valve this spring. May well have been due to freezing fluids pushing out on the valve gate in March coming home from AZ. I'd rewinterize, making sure to get some antifreeze down into the tanks.
