Fresh water filling question

Here’s something simple for someone who knows the 17B’s construction details, I hope! I want to start filling my freshwater tank when boondocking with a siphon. How far below the level of the water fill cap is the top of the freshwater tank? I figure I would want the bottom of my external supply jug to be at least at the level of the top of the freshwater tank, right?

Thanks for your help!

The top of the freshwater tank is against the raised floor of the dinette area. You can see how high the main floor is at the door, and add the height of the step up that you can see at the edge of the dinette.
