Fridge Manometer Test Plug

Can anyone tell me what size fits the test port on my Dometic 8551? I find many references to the fitting, but can't seem to find the recommended size.

I believe it’s 1/8 NPT.

Yes that should be it. A standard gas valve pressure adapter will work.

Good manometer kits by Yellow Jacket or UEI, etc. come with this adapter.

Report back on your test results. There has been some different (slightly) numbers posted recently about what is acceptable. I always thought 11 column inches was the “Golden” rule. Maybe it’s only the minimum?

This is what the RM2510 service manual says. I landed at right about 12" w.c. with no load to not drop below 11" with 50% of trailer BTU's operational.
