Fridge noise

We are just finalizing out build sheet for our 17A (we got bumped up to a February completion). We are going for the 4 cu ft fridge. My wife asked: "Does the fridge make noise?" My immediate reaction was: "It can't. It has no moving parts." She said: "Ask the Forum".
So here I am. Does the Dometic 4 cu ft make noise?

Hi: noblets... !!! Unless you count the propane burner sound. In our 5.0TA the water heater on propane makes more noise. Alf

In my 17B, I sleep with my head next to the 5 cu. ft. fridge. I hear nothing.

It's because it's quiet, owners new to trailer refrigerators think it's not working.

What has often woken me is the analogue thermostat making a loud click as it sends a signal to the furnace to start up. The thermostat is located on the side of the fridge, above my head.
I recently replaced it with a digital thermostat and hope that fixes the issue.

My wife says she can hear the add on fridge fan making a high pitch whine when it is running.
I guess that's an advantage of not hearing well as it does not bother me at all

The refrigerator is silent, whether on propane or electric. Any noise mentioned would be from an external source such as an add on fan option, which is no longer being recommended except in extreme heat. Thermostats on the refer make -0- noise as does the new digital one for the furnace.

Our fridge makes some noise at high elevations (>8500 ft.) when the burner struggles to light. Think "click click click click" that's loud enough to wake me up. We have mitigated this a bit by adjusting the regulator pressure, but YMMV.
