fridge turning on by itself

Has anyone had their fridge turn on by itself? Ac, dc, or propane it doesn't matter, I also can't manually chose the power source. It's like all adjustments are frozen, the temperature adjustment won't go up or down and 2 bars is as cold as I can get. I've had to clean out a freezerful of water because I left the doors open for ventilation and it turned itself on. Dometic thinks it might be the eyebrow but doesn't know. This is in a 2016 21ft escape and the fridge is the 8555.

I'd replace the board if a full reset doesn't work. Remove both AC and DC power, let it sit for 10 mins or so, then repower and try again.

In case anyone wants to know what a cold boot, reset will do, this is what it does.

On the board are some application specific integrated circuits (ASIC chips) that can fall into an unknown state if electricity is applied in such a way to scramble the logic. By bringing down, or removing the power, you gives the ASICS a chance to re establish the electrical flow correctly and put the chip back into a known state.

Then you can test the functions of the interface. Otherwise new motherboard (or whatever they call it).

I have to keep all power, AC&DC, turnedn off or it will be trying to start. I just went out and turned the battery back on and sure enough it started trying to start. I'm going to order the eyebrow from Dometic. I wish Dinosaur made a replacement.
