Frig question

Forum,

I assume the item circled in the attached pic is the thermocouple (?). I am planning to add an interior frig fan after traveling through the southern US last summer where the frig was sort of fine, but a bit more cooling wouple be helpful.

thanks

Thermistor. Basically slide it up for more cooling. Do a google search for rv fridge temperature control because I see others saying to clip the thermistor to fins closer to the middle for more cooling.

Thanks all. I reviewed the refrigerator electrical schematic prior to my post and it appeared to have the temperature sensor in another location. Did not make sense.

It may have fallen off the fins, friction holds it on the fins and it is easily moved up or down or comes off.

Remember these are not like you home refer where one opens and looks for what is tempting. You are cooling with heat and the walls are not as insulated as your home unit which recovers quickly. These units do not like being open and closed. We open and take all the items needed out and after eating open to return any leftovers. They work well if kept closed.
