I tried several times, but can't get the frig. to start on propane setting.
Does anybody now what might be the wrong.

Refrigerator

Lots of variables in play.
Propane tanks open with propane in the tanks? Run the stove, furnace and hot water heater ( with water in tank) to eliminate air in line.
Dial set on gas operation and set to a fairly high number ( I like 4) hold button down and listen for ignitor ticking away should start. Sometimes it takes a while for ours if tanks have been changed. Battery control should be set to on for ignitor and on light to work.
Those are the starters.
Ok ready for next level of expertise. For me that would be call a friend or my brother.

Take the outside cover off the fridge, then remove the metal guard plate exposing the burner. Take a straw or compressed air canister like you would use to clean a computer keyboard and blow out the burner area. According to my mechanic, spiders love to build nests in that space and there is some sort of safety mechanism there which will not permit the unit to run with obstructions

What's your altitude? Mine would not run last summer when we were camped above 7000 ft.

Cold case

Glad to learn you got the refrigerator working without a major hassle. And I'm sure you'll know more places to look for a problem if you have a problem in the future.
