Exclamation furnace vent

Noticed a wasp buzzing around the furnace vent today.. I was already trying to figure out what to use for protecting the vent from wasps and mud daubers and that wasp gave me the idea to ask advice. It appears the little wire covers I used on our old Casita will not fit? Ideas?

This is the one I used on the furnace vent - it fit perfectly on my trailer.

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

It's the RV Insect Screen 4.5" x 4.5" x 1.3" referenced by Jon's post.

I plan on installing hardware cloth on the inside of my vent panel louvers, and use the 'outschticken' type only for the furnace vent.

BYW, wasps and flies seem to like the smell of LP gas...I had a tank where the relief screw wasn't set tight by the refiller guy, and it drew a lot of flying friends - a fly even wedged himself into the screw hole!
