Galley sink

Has anyone had a larger sink installed in their 5.0? If so, what model, size, etc.

Lots of people have used the Houzer granite sink, it is a bit larger opening and also deeper than the factory sink. It's available on Amazon and other places and comes in four colors. We've been very happy with ours. You also will need to order the basket strainer separately.

Escape installed this sink for us in our 2015. We had to ship them the sink and faucet before the build.
Fits a 12" frying pan nicely.

Unless they have changed, Escape will only use sinks with no pre-drilled faucet holes, they mount the faucet in the counter top behind the sink before installing the sink. This limits your choice of sinks considerably.

We originally really wanted a double sink but couldn't find anything that would work in the counter space in the 5.0TA. But the Houzer sink is a nice big size, and we have found that we don't miss the double sink at all. Adding a flip-up counter extension next to the sink is also a big help, highly recommend that option.

Our custom double sink

We have a Escape 21 which has a little more counter space than a 5.0 but in case you're interested, this is the sink we had Escape install for us (ordered from etrailer):

25" x 15" Double Bowl Sink - Stainless SteelItem #*277-000601 (https://www.etrailer.com/RV-Sinks/Pa...77-000601.html)

As David mentioned, you will probably need to add a basket strainer to your custom sink. Ours from etrailer:

Valterra Sink Drain with Strainer BasketItem #*A01-2011VP (https://www.etrailer.com/Accessories...01-2011VP.html)

The plastic bins I use fit perfectly in the sink:

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

The cutting board I use that fits on top of the bins to replace counter space:

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Our dish strainer that sits perfectly in the bin, under the cutting board:
https://www.amazon.com/Camco-Durable...s%2C204&sr=8-4

We love this set up...which should also fit in the 5.0, but you will end up with a little less counter space than the E21...so be sure to measure. Happy sink hunting! -Bea
