Gas Regulator Problem

The green/red indicator on my gas regulator seems to be not working. I completely unscrew both tanks and it stays green. When a tank is empty it does not automatically switch to the other. I am getting gas to my stove and frig so no problem there.
Any tips??

If you eventually buy a new regulator, get a Marshal made in Michigan.
Get the regular pressure model.

Someone will chime in with the model number.

Save your old one for a spare or not.

I’d call them up, I think they are in your home state. Maybe they have a trouble shooting guide.

Dumb question, and you’ve probably done this, but after shutting off both tanks did you run the gas on the stove to take pressure off the lines?

Enjoy,

Perry

I contacted Marshall and they said I had to work thru my dealer. They would not work directly with the end user. So I contacted Escape. Thanks for the advice.

i find they don't flip unless there's fuel consumption, just turning on or off a tank without any propane consumption in the trailer won't do anything.

The OP says he removed both tank from the connection and its still green. I believe he got a defective unit.

By just removing both tanks it will remain green until you relieve the pressure. Sometimes people forget to do the simplest things. I know I do.

Enjoy,

Perry
