While I do have a TIG welder it's almost all riveted. I did weld the radiused corners on the top but I could just as easily used 5052 and bashed them on a forming block.

I mounted my generator on the back of my 19' on a heavily modified rear bumper to handle the weight of 2 additional batteries and the generator. After re-distributing the weight front-to-back in the trailer, this has been a great solution. The generator is secured with a special mounting plate and locking pin in the hitch. I believe the rear bumper modifications were less than $300 including design, materials and fabrication. The commercial generator mounting plate was additional.

What do you mean unique? It's been part of my everyday vocabulary since I was about 10 years old and reading my dad's aeronautical engineering books.
