Generator hook-up gives a readout of P2 - no ground
Why does our E19 give a readout of P2 - no ground when hooked up to our Honda generator? This seems wrong as we thought a generator could be used to replace hook-up to electricity when boondocking.

If you still want the EMS to be functional, instead of putting it in bypass you can buy or make a neutral ground bonding plug. This plug is inserted into one of the outlets on your generator and eliminates the “kick-out” on the EMS. I bought a South Wireplug but they are not hard to wire up if you have a plug end with accessible terminals. Someone will post the setup. The Honda 2200 that we have will then power the Dometic air conditioner on our 2013 Escape 21. We installed the micro air east start on the AC unit and the AC start up without a loud clunk from the locked rotor.
The bonding plug with the 2200i generator will allow you to pull about 18 amps off of the generator under full load.

We finally found the "unmarked switch" and it just gave the readout of OFF. The refrig and clock on the microwave did work.
Thank you for the suggestion:-)
